Public Art Commissions

Tom Franco & The Dreams

Welcome to this page of interactive art with the public. We strive to bring our collaborative group far and wide to share art practice and process with those who would like to engage. One of the most fun things I have experienced as an artist is to visit communities on their home turf and to make art at a specific site and present to the public. We have been invited to do gallery and museum shows, office buildings, creative oriented spaces, live painting at festivals, teach classes, create art videos, direct product videos, participate in art residencies, and to paint murals.

There is no end to the possibilities of where and how art can be installed and engaged with. If you are excited about inviting us to your part of the world please reach out to me in the Contact tab and explain your ideas :).

Art needs to be shared with as many people as possible, and this is a great experiential way to uplift community.

Mixed Media for Kids at Home VIDEO by Marcus Pun

In collaboration with artist Colin Hurley. This video was made for the Mill Valley Film Festival to honor their 43th year and give the kids and families a project to do from home. This is a great example of having an art class, with the magic of video editing, to complete a multi-step art work using paint and found objects mixed media. Follow along and take your time to let each step be something unique for you in your own style and pace :)

Art Installation for Simon G Jewelry

In collaboration with artist Alan Chin. This project was conceptualized for an office space re-design for a high end jewelry production and show room. We studied the space and visualized the desires of the group in theme, mood, color and emotional excitement. This is a great example of enlivening a room with special meaning.

YES Theory Editing Suite, Venice Beach VIDEO by Yes Theory

In collaboration with Alan Chin, Iris Torres, Ammar Kandil, Liam Cook, Ben Meister, and Nathan Lam. Working with this wildly expansive group of YouTube wizards, our team was asked to help conceptualize their new office head quarters after outgrowing their original space. This multi-floor creative space was a huge canvass to go wild in, while at the same time staying true to their branding image, visual aesthetics, and event oriented dynamism. A great use of in-person event space as well as video content for on-line viewing.
